Spring Break 2013
So me, Zack, and Diane decided to change up our spring break plans from doing nothing to going to Disney World to now road tripping up to Tennessee and exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the nearby ski resort!
Can’t wait to explore the mountains, see waterfalls, and play in the snow!

New Year’s Challenge: Day 08- My Resolution
Work hard, play harder.
I’m going to study hard enough to keep up my grades and do well on the MCAT, but at the same time becoming a better person to my friends and my boyfriend so I won’t be a bother to be around. Somewhere along the way, I’ll try to eat out less and use that money to do things that will make me and the people around me happier. Maybe a day at the museum or the zoo. Perhaps a picnic at the park after playing tennis or something.
New Year’s Challenge: Day 07- Five People You Got Close To
This is so sad lol. I can’t even list five people I got close to this year. I actually don’t think I got much closer to anyone besides
- Zack - So I used to think he was some creeper because he was always just too nice to everyone. Like, he would offer to do things for you that people normally wouldn’t because it was too nice and weird. Sometime in February (to be exact, Feb 15th lol), we were both bored so decided to go grab food because he had a car. It was the first time we ever hung out by ourselves. Turns out (though it wasn’t a date then) that was the best dinner I ever had alone with someone. I knew he was going to end up as one of my best friends, if not my boyfriend, and we were close ever since.

New Year’s Challenge: Day 06- List of What You Want to Change This Year
- Be less childish and selfish
- Be more sociable
- Study better than I did this semester
- Skip class less (probably not going to happen lol)
- Be a better friend to the friends I have left
- Be a better girlfriend to the person who does the most for me
- Get a better haircut and hair color. So uglee right now

New Year’s Challenge: Day 04- Letter to a Person You Grew Apart From
To Person A (and pretty much all my high school friends):
We got really close, really quickly during senior year of high school. It was surprising! I only had a couple real friends up until that point, and you just came into my life suddenly, and somehow we just clicked. I remember being really happy at the time about making a new friend, and with you, I was able to be more confident and sociable. From that point, I was able to become better friends with more people because I always hung out with your friends, and they eventually became mine too. But then college happened, and we went to separate schools. I thought we would text and Skype all the time, but we have barely talked in the last couple years since we moved away from Fleming. We’re not as close as we used to be, but when we see each other in person, it’s like all the months of no communication never happened. So I guess not all hope is lost, right? Maybe if I tried a little harder, but honestly I just don’t care that hard which is why we’re not as close now anyways.

New Year’s Challenge: Day 03- My New Year’s Plans
Well, I’m in Houston, but I’m staying at my cousin’s place. So I’m probably not going to be able to do anything for New Year’s even if I wanted to because they’re really strict. I’m most likely just going to Skype with my babby then to go sleep before it even reaches midnight. Boring~
New Year’s Challenge: Day 01- Ten Things I Did This Year
- I fell in love when I thought I would be forever alone.
- I found a new alternate career path in research.
- I maintained my 4.0!
- I went to my first concert. Alesso for free!
- I dyed my hair back to black after two years of having it auburn.
- I won free California Pizza Kitchen for a year.
- I became a peer mentor to a great group of students which encourages me to find new ways to be a role model. Perhaps I’ll volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club.
- On that note, I began volunteering my time at the Florida Hospital Emergency Department after having to bring Zack to the ER one night. It was eye-opening.
- I got an annual pass to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventures and proceeded to go and sneak several hundreds of dollars in food and drinks from there.
- I went to Disney World for three days with my friends, but it turned out to be a failed vacation because everyone was fighting and unhappy to start with.
